Stopped here for a late breakfast on our way back from Pigeon Forge TN. Parking lot was pretty full despite the amount of open tables inside, but we found one irregardless. Don't let the looks fool you, this is a very nice and cozy place inside! Seating was at our leisure, so we opted for a small table to the left of the bar area where our kiddos would disturb the fewest folks. This place was very clean (bathrooms included) and had that down-home atmosphere that reminded me of similar places back home. Loved the decorations and how they reflect the local culture. Very "homey" and comforting. Staff was very attentive and greeted us well. Drinks came out promptly. The breakfast menu was well varied and had plenty of options including a Kids section. Sides could have been better displayed. Overall, breakfast here is akin to Waffle House mixed with local flair. Standard breakfast mixed with some interesting one-offs. Wife enjoyed a standard egg/meat/side breakfast. Kiddos had pancakes, which were large. Non-issue there:). I opted for the Irishman Omelette which was corned beef hash with Swiss cheese in an omelette. Side was hash browns with toast. I opted for toast over biscuits. Food arrived quicker than expected and was well prepared. Hash browns could have been cooked a little longer and given a bit more crispiness, but they were still good. Perhaps options for add-ons for that would be good. Kiddos asked for syrup for the pancakes and that took quite a bit of time to get. Price was decent for the food quantity. Mine was $14 and it was more than I could eat. Kiddo's food was $6-$8 each and seemed a little high given that kids dont always eat much. Wife's meal was $10 and seemed appropriate for the quantity. Overall a good experience and would definitely love to visit again to try their lunch menu and some of the baked goods in the glass case up front!

The nicest people you will ever meet! Everything you would hope a stop along the way would be. Great atmosphere, clean, new Field. The people are amazing. The coffee was excellent. I didn’t try the food but I saw many plates and people looked very happy and the food looks delicious. Highly rated!

I'm from out of town, eating here on my relative's recommendation. Great good, great southern atmosphere. Food was prepared and served in a reasonable amount of time given how many of us there were sitting together. The outdoor seating was pleasant for the warm fall day. I got a burger, and I'd love to try the catfish next time.

I have travel across this country as a pastor and church leader for over 35 years now working part-time as a semi-trucker. While trucking on I-40, I purpose to stop here at Haywood Cafe. To mine taste and opinion, there is no other resturant between here and Nashville that suits my taste. The staff are always on point. Today I was bless to be serve by Masha. Until the next time, keep up the great work. Michael

Roadside diners are always a gamble, and the Haywood 209 did not disappoint! I had a BLT, and the bacon was perfectly crispy and the tomatoes were quite good. There was bit of a wait, but I *did* go at Noon on a Saturday. After we were seated the service was really good; our waitress Marsha was really friendly, and the food as previously mentioned was delicious. My friends ordered some dessert from their homemade dessert menu, and I'm honestly jealous I was too full to try them myself.

Stopped for a quick bite and potty break. Got a burger and a dog. Fries were crispy and seasoned. I’d eat here again
